The institute’s main activities include, but are not limited to, informal presentations, seminars, open talks, brainstorming groups, in-house meetings, civil society visits, and so forth. Each residency will publish a brief monthly newsletter, distributed online, documenting activities, research output, new guests, events, and more, including published abstracts of work produced within the community. Research articles will appear in the institute’s discussion paper series. The residents are expected to involve themselves in determining the format and character of the work programme: the institute is open to whatever novel projects and programmes that individual scholars wish to bring to it. Interactions with past community guests will be maintained through the institute’s alumni network and mailing lists.
